Client: Pitney Bowes
Role: Design
Art Direction: Bill Darling; Wolff Olins
This design was meant to visualize a new strategy idea "Connections That Matter". It wasn't meant to be a final design, but Pitney Bowes was really into it anyways, and it sold this strategy idea as well. The mark was slightly based off their old mark, but I had super simplified it and gave it a purpose rather than it being just a static symbol. Not only is the mark the focal point of where connections that matter happen, but it is also a "target". Pitney Bowes is known for its mail industry, but lately they acquired lots of other small companies that do a wide range of things from creating software to hardware, to map info to workflow management, everything needs to be precise and confident. The purpose of the project was to strategically organize the company internally, and give it a new inspiring look.
