FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS

A way of exploring the hidden family and systemic dynamics that may be shaping your life.

Sometimes the challenges we're facing didn't begin with us.

We may find ourselves repeating the same relationship patterns, struggling with belonging, carrying emotions that don't fully make sense, or feeling stuck despite years of personal growth and self-reflection.

Family Constellations offers a different perspective.

Rather than looking only at the individual, this work explores the larger family and relational systems we belong to and the ways experiences, losses, loyalties, and unresolved dynamics can continue to influence us across generations.

What often emerges is the realization that something we believed was simply "our issue" may be connected to a larger story. Sometimes the source of a challenge is not where we think it is. Family Constellations can reveal hidden dynamics and unexpected connections that bring a situation into a new light.

One of the challenges of being human is that we're born into our family systems. They shape our beliefs, roles, ways of relating, and our sense of what feels normal long before we're aware of it. Because we're inside the system, it can be difficult to recognize the patterns we're living within.

One of the gifts of Family Constellations is having someone outside the system help guide a process that brings those hidden dynamics into view. My role isn't to tell you what your family means or what to do, but to facilitate a process that allows new perspectives and possibilities to emerge.

When these dynamics become visible, people often experience greater clarity, compassion, relief, and freedom to move forward in a new way.

This work does not assume anything is wrong with you. Instead, it invites us to look more deeply at the systems that have shaped us and the patterns that may be asking for attention.

What Is Family Constellations?

Family Constellations is a holistic healing modality that helps us explore personal challenges within the larger context of our family and relational systems.

What may initially appear to be a personal struggle can sometimes be understood more fully when viewed through the lens of family history, inherited patterns, and the experiences of those who came before us.

Family Constellations offers a unique way of bringing these hidden dynamics into awareness. Challenges that once felt confusing or deeply personal are often revealed to be connected to larger family stories, loyalties, or unresolved experiences that continue to influence us beneath the surface.

One of the central insights of this work is that we often carry unconscious loyalties to our family system. These loyalties can shape our relationships, choices, beliefs, and sense of belonging without us fully realizing it.

When these patterns become visible, new possibilities emerge. We are given an opportunity to relate differently to the past, break cycles that no longer serve us, and create ways of being that are more aligned with who we are and how we want to live.

People often come to Family Constellations when:

  • the same relationship patterns keep repeating

  • something feels stuck beneath the surface

  • carrying emotions or burdens that don't fully feel like their own

  • struggling with belonging, intimacy, family, or self-worth

  • sensing a deeper pattern at work

  • wanting to understand and shift generational dynamics

  • seeking greater peace, healing, or resolution within family relationships

What Can We Explore?

Family Constellations can be supportive around many different areas of life, including:

  • repeating relationship or family patterns

  • unresolved dynamics with parents, children, partners, or siblings

  • feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unclear about what is next

  • childhood experiences or family stories that still feel present

  • belonging, self-worth, intimacy, or personal power

  • career, business, money, creativity, or life-direction patterns

  • health challenges or chronic pain that may have a systemic layer

  • generational patterns, inherited burdens, or unconscious loyalties

  • a desire for greater peace, clarity, or resolution within your family system

Beyond Family

While Family Constellations often explores family and ancestral dynamics, the same principles can also be applied to business, career, creativity, decision-making, health, relationships, and other systems. In these cases, we're exploring the larger system surrounding an issue and the hidden dynamics influencing it.

What Happens in a Session?

We begin by clarifying your intention and exploring the family stories, relationships, and experiences connected to what you'd like to work with. Together, we identify the people, dynamics, and systems that may be asking for attention before moving into the constellation itself.

From there, I guide you through a constellation process that helps bring hidden dynamics, loyalties, and patterns into view. This may include placing papers or footprints on the floor, tuning into the body, noticing sensations or emotions, and allowing the system to reveal what wants to be seen.

By externalizing what has been held internally, it often becomes easier to see patterns, relationships, and dynamics from a new perspective.

The process is experiential rather than analytical. We are not trying to force an answer or figure everything out with the mind. Instead, we create space for new information, movement, and perspective to emerge.

You are guided throughout, with attention to embodiment, nervous system safety, and integration. At the end, we take time to reflect on what was revealed and how it may want to settle into your life.

How I Work

My approach is trauma-informed, embodied, and grounded.

Sessions are held gently and at your pace, with attention to nervous system safety, choice, and integration. My role is not to tell you what something means, but to help facilitate a process that allows deeper patterns and dynamics to become visible.

Often, what creates change is not forcing a solution, but seeing something clearly for the first time.

“Family Constellations has profoundly helped me change my life. It unlocked so much for me around religion and mother wounds that I likely would not have been able to process and release otherwise.

More recently, we explored my business through a constellation, looking at consistency, creativity, and how to more fully integrate tarot and energy work into my studio. It completely blew my mind.

The ability to step into different aspects, challenges, or possibilities offers a perspective I don’t think I could access by simply sitting and analyzing. The constellation helped me see how to bring my different offerings together in a way that felt aligned, sustainable, and true to the heart of my work.

I highly recommend this modality. It helps you see situations from multiple perspectives and often reveals possibilities that were difficult to see before.”

Group Family Constellation Workshops

In addition to private sessions, I periodically offer Family Constellation workshops in group settings. This is one of my favorite ways to do this work.

Group constellations can be incredibly powerful. Whether you're bringing your own issue to explore or participating as a representative in someone else's constellation, the work often touches themes that resonate far beyond a single individual.

Many people are surprised by how much insight and healing can emerge simply by witnessing or participating in another person's process.

Workshops offer an opportunity to experience Family Constellations within a shared space of community, connection, and collective healing.

As this work continues to grow, I'm excited to create more opportunities for people to gather, learn, and explore Family Constellations together. There is something uniquely powerful about witnessing these dynamics unfold in community and discovering how deeply connected our stories often are.

Reflections from Workshop Participants

“I have been wanting to do Family Constellations in person for a long time. I knew the experience would be life changing, but I thought I would have to travel overseas to experience it. Then it happened right here in my hometown.

I continue to attend Masha’s sessions because whether I have my own constellation or participate in someone else’s, the transformation is always there. I could keep trying to explain the value of these live sessions, but I think the best way to understand them is to attend one and thank me later.””
— Cat
“I went to this retreat not knowing anyone, just feeling the call to go, and I am so grateful I trusted my intuition. Masha held an open and healing space. Coupled with the power of Family Constellations, there was permission to be vulnerable, to play, and to feel seen.

I left feeling connected to the community that was created in that space. I feel lighter and more supported in my healing journey, and I can already tell that this work is going to shift larger dynamics in my life where things have been stuck for years.”
— Beth Ann
“I was astonished by how Family Constellations can deliver such powerful insight and healing. On the surface, it seems oddly simple, but somehow new understanding emerges through the process.

By the end, it’s like a lightbulb gets switched on—not only for the person receiving the constellation, but sometimes for the people participating as well.”
— Tom M.

~ LEARN WITH ME ~

This is a teaching I often share at the beginning of my Family Constellations workshops. It was taught to me by Suzi Tucker and has become one of my favorite ways of expressing what Family Constellations is really about.

In Family Constellations, we explore how our lives are shaped not only by our personal experiences, but also by the family systems and histories from which we come. Through the image of the kitchen table, we begin to consider the invisible loyalties, inherited patterns, and larger forces that may still be influencing us today.

Whether you're new to Family Constellations or already familiar with the work, I hope this reflection offers a meaningful way to look at your own family story.
