My Journey with Cacao
The first time I had Ceremonial Cacao was at the end of a week-long plant medicine retreat in Colombia. I remember seeing a brick of Keith’s Cacao on the altar all week, curious about what it was.
At the end of that week, one of the participants led a cacao ceremony using that same brick of cacao, as a closing sharing circle. I didn’t know what to expect.
After drinking this cacao, I never felt my heart so much in my entire life. My heart was beating fast, and I started crying so hard that I had to walk away to be with myself and cry.
At that moment, I began releasing so much sadness in my heart that I didn’t even know I had. From years and years of relationships not working out and all the various heartbreaks I’ve had throughout my life.
Here I am, 37 and still single searching for love.
I eventually went back to the group as it was a sharing circle, but I could barely talk. I was so moved, I was still crying. As I tried to speak, it felt like I had walls up around my heart and they just came crashing down.
With a fully open and raw heart, I proclaimed to the group that I was finally actually ready for true love and ready to call in a life partner.
Then I started to drink cacao at home.
At first, I did a 21-day cacao journey where I got to see firsthand how I went from being stressed out, restless, and not having time for myself — to having 2 hour morning rituals and connecting to my soul’s guidance while also becoming more productive and focused.
I learned very quickly that Cacao is AMAZING for productivity and focus.

Within a year, I started having cacao as a daily practice and sharing cacao with friends and clients — I witnessed the Spirit of Cacao guide me and anyone I shared her with — through anything we were dealing with in life. With every cup, I set an intention. With every cup, I got answers to my life questions.
In January of 2022, I felt a strong calling from the Spirit of Cacao (Cacao is an entheogen), asking me to share cacao with others in a group setting and spread its magic.
I signed up for Keith’s Cacao Practitioner training to learn everything I could about Cacao and then hosted my first ceremony with 20 people two weeks later. I’ve been holding Cacao Ceremonies ever since, all over New York and New Jersey.
The immense healings that happen in these circles are INCREDIBLE. I am so honored to be able to share cacao with the world and facilitate such experiences.
One year after drinking Cacao in Colombia that first time — I met my now partner, Tiger, at a plant medicine ceremony.
When we met, he knew instantly I was the one and there was a special connection between us. At first we were friends and I introduced him to cacao.
Now we are creating our life and living in Upstate NY. We have a cacao ritual every morning together and hold Cacao Ceremonies for others. We’ve also started a new project: Embodied Psychedelics Collective which incorporates Cacao as an integration tool.
I overheard someone once say, “When you start to drink Cacao, get ready to live your life.” I find this to be so true!

Cacao is a plant medicine with many benefits.
It grows on a tree as a seed in a unique-looking pods that are composed of multi colors of greens, yellows, oranges, and browns. The tree itself is called Theobroma Cacao, which translates to ‘Food of the Gods’.
Keith Wilson (of Keith’s Cacao) says Cacao is a multi-dimensional spirit in the form of the Cacao plant.
I’ve personally been touched by Mama Cacao per my story above. I connect with her every time I drink a cup.
We are so blessed to be alive at a time in history where humanity is going through a shift in consciousness and Mama Cacao is coming back out from the rainforest and into our hands, guiding us on this shift and the spiritual journey of life.
